What's best for me - in-ground or above ground?

The right choice for you really depends on two things: your backyard and your budget. In-ground pools are beautiful and can be custom-designed to fit your landscape and the ways in which you want to use your pool. With Pool Tech's quality construction, an in-ground pool also provides a durable facility. The design options are limitless and Pool Tech's professionals can help you design a facility to meet your specific needs.

However, it may be that either your yard or your budget is not quite the right fit for an in-ground pool. Above ground pools are more affordable and can be installed more easily in a variety of backyards. Today's above ground pools also offer more choices than ever before in the exterior, decking, suggested landscaping and other amenities that create the right fit for your home.

Does Pool Tech have the ability to do customized designs?

Yes! We believe that it's important to take the time to learn about the ways in which you want to use your pool - for family fun, exercise, entertaining, etc. Then we can develop a design that is exactly what you want.

How much time will I have to spend taking care of my pool?

Because Pool Tech offers a full range of services, it is really up to you. Our customers range from doing all of the care and maintenance themselves...to doing some ...to letting us take care of everything. It also depends on whether or not you purchase automated chemical systems and other features like that. However, typically you will spend about an hour per week caring for your pool.

The one thing you can count on is that while we're exploring options together, we'll help you select the products and systems that make sense for your lifestyle. The goal is to help you enjoy your pool, not to put undue pressure on your time or your budget.

I'm concerned about safety, what kinds of safety features are recommended?

Here are some safety features that are required and some that are optional, but can go a long way in providing peace of mind. Required safety features will depend on the codes in your area, but typically include a fence of some sort. In addition, there are other safety options available, such as water alarms, safety covers and door alarms.
