Water Fountains & Features Pools - FAQ
I saw something I really like. If I bring a picture in can you do that for my yard?
Yes, absolutely. One customer saw a particularly interesting waterfall, another had a photo of a stream leading to a pond - we were able to make it happen in their backyards. Or, if you simply have a general idea, we'll work with you to develop a moving water feature that will look good and work beautifully in your yard.
What kinds of water features are available for my yard?
Not all water features will work in every yard, it will depend on your environment. However, reflecting ponds, rock waterfalls, fountains and small streams are some of the features Pool Tech has installed. Be sure to check out our photo gallery; then give us a call. We can discuss options and come to your house for a site visit to determine what will work for your space.
How long will it take to install?
Of course it will depend on what kind of water feature you choose, but typically it will take anywhere from two to six weeks for installation. Obviously, the more extensive the project, the more time will be required. If you would like your project in time for a specific event, be sure to plan ahead well in advance. It's never too early to talk about your project and get it scheduled.
What kind of care is required?
Different water features require different levels of care. Our representatives can take you through the care and maintenance for your plans and help you develop a system that meets your needs and fits your lifestyle.
What do I have to do in the winter?
It will be important to properly "close" your water feature for the winter. It is usually a simple process involving draining and covering, then winterizing the plumbing lines. Pool Tech is available to consult you on this or handle it for you. Just give us a call; we're happy to help.
