Spa vs. Hot Tubs
Spas are in-ground, custom-designed water features that are a permanent addition. Hot tubs are a self-contained, above-ground unit that is standalone.
Standalone vs. Integrated
Integrated spas are permanently built alongside a pool, providing direct access from the pool. An integrated spa shares filtration and heating with the pool, saving energy and simplifying maintenance. Separate or standalone spas offer greater design flexibility and separate water chemistry.

Which Spa is Right For You?
In-ground spas provide a seamless, high-end look that integrates into your yard’s design. As a permanent fixture that comes with higher costs and more complex installation, in-ground spas have extensive customization.
Above-ground spas are generally less expensive and easier to install, but they don’t blend into your landscaping as well, and steeper sides make them harder to get in and out of. Above-ground spas offer easy cleaning, water testing, and repairs.
